Welcome to our Sculptural Reflections Shop. Here, you begin the process for
your custom-designed Pedestal Memorials, Estate Art and Custom Glass Sculptures. Further down the page, you can order Memory Hearts and Memory Spheres. Our creation process is story-driven. As such, we are very interested in capturing memories of your loved one and, if possible, seeing a picture to help keep them in our thoughts as we make your art. We invite you to begin your healing journey by creating a tangible beautiful artwork that mirrors the love you hold in your heart.

Pedestal Memorials, Estate Art and Custom Glass Sculptures require a $500 deposit and then a consultation with artist Chris Nordin. Initiate these orders by first paying your deposit below which will be  credited towards the final cost of your sculpture. We will respond within 24 hours by sending you an email with a link to Chris’s calendar so that you can choose a time to have a consultation with him that might last up to one hour. 

During the consultation, you will share memories and stories of your loved one. Chris will listen thoughtfully to ensure a true collaboration when designing your sculpture. Design details, conceptual ideas, costs and delivery will also be discussed during your consultation.

Chris schedules consultation appointments two weeks in advance. Our calendar displays the days that are currently available. 

Pedestal Memorial and Estate Art is priced at $2500 and up. Custom Glass Sculptures range between $500 to $2500. The exact pricing is based on your consultation with Chris. 

Our three sizes of beautiful, hollow Memorial Gazing Orbs can be ordered in our Shop below. A standard clear glass base will be included, but you can choose to upgrade the base to a more substantial, hand-blown glass one that is forged in the glass furnace to look like metal. The 1.5-inch removable plug on the bottom allows access to the inner void.

No two Memorial Gazing Orbs are alike, each a unique, one-of-a-kind treasure just like your loved one! You can also choose to add twinkle lights to the interior of your Memorial Gazing Orbs for nighttime splendor and comfort. The thickness of the glass allows for either indoor or year round outdoor placements.

If you choose to encase a small portion of the cremation remains in the glass surface, upon ordering you will be sent a complementary collection kit to facilitate sending a small portion (1 teaspoon) of your loved one’s cremation remains to our studio. We promise to track and guard these priceless cremation remains and return any unused portion to you with your completed sculpture. 

Using the Orb as an Urn

If you will use the Orb as a Memorial Urn, do not send us the full amount of the cremation remains. For Urns, please choose an 8-inch or 10-inch size for adult remains. The 6-inch size is suitable for a small child’s remains. When you receive the completed Orb, you can either put the cremation remains within it yourself, or return to your funeral service provider to help you.

When Placing Your Order

You can order your unique, personalized Memorial Gazing Orb or Urn in the Sculptural Reflections Shop below. Each of our orb sculptures is crafted with the utmost respect and creativity. During the creation of your glass sculpture, we will hold memories of your loved one in our thoughts.

1. Open the Shop tab and choose your Orb sculpture’s size and colors to personalize your order. For best results, choose an opaque color for at least one of your options.
2. You can also add an etching of your loved one’s name and birth/death dates as an option.
3. You choose if the Orb will be used as an Urn or as a Memorial Gazing Orb.
4. Share memories of your loved one in the space provided on the order form. This step adds to the creation process!
5. If you choose to encase a small portion of cremation remains in the glass surface, you will receive a collection kit in the mail.
6. Place about a teaspoon of the remains in the vessel provided and, if possible, include a small copy of a photo of your loved one when you return things to us. Send both via USPS Priority Mail in a post office provided cardboard-sided envelope. Using this service will provide a tracking number and insurance.
7. Our team will create your personalized sculpture with your loved one in mind and send it to you within two weeks of receiving the cremation remains.
8. The photocopy and any extra cremation remains will be carefully returned to you with your order.

Each piece you see there cannot be duplicated exactly, but we can replicate the colors used. There are many colors and color combinations you might like. See our glass color swatches on the order form. Cremation remains will add a third color - light gray or white.

Memory Hearts Product Details

Our two sizes of Memory Hearts connect your remembrances with the timeless beauty of your love, to have, to hold and to display. Our collection embodies the heart’s universal symbolism of love. Each glass sculpture is unique, reflecting your choices. You can accessorize your Memory Heart by purchasing a display stand.

Memory Spheres Product Details

Our three sizes of Memory Spheres feel lovely to hold and are beautiful to display. The sphere’s universal symbolism brings with it a sense of wholeness and completion. Each Memory Sphere includes a separate hand-pressed clear glass pedestal to display and secure placement.

5. Our team will create your personalized sculpture with your loved one in mind and send it to you within two weeks of receiving the cremation remains.
6. The photocopy and any extra cremation remains will be carefully returned to you with your order.

Delivery

Due to the personal sensitivity of our sculptures, delivery of completed orders will require a signature. You may request that it be delivered without a signature in the notes on your order form.

Care for Cremation Remains

If you send a small portion of your loved one’s cremation remains to our studio to encase in the glass, we promise to track and guard these priceless relics and return any unused portion to you with your completed sculpture.
